It’s easy to sponsor Our Gang and makes a big difference for our participants.
Each sponsorship is $100 and covers the top 5 awards for one class of drivers. Every class that is sponsored allows all of the race fees collected in that class to be used for our operating costs such as lake permits, insurance and supplies. The more sponsorship we have, the less we have to collect in race fees and this in turn keeps ice racing affordable. Our Gang currently hosts over 70 classes a season, so you can see the need for sponsors!
Our website, www.ourgangiceracing.com, receives tens of thousands of views and Our Gang distributes over 3,000 flyers each season. Each of these lists the names and contact information of all sponsors. Additionally, each weekend we announce our sponsors’ names to our participants at both the Driver’s Meetings and Trophy Presentations. We have over 2,300 followers on Facebook, 900 followers on Instagram, and 700 email subscribers.
As a bonus, each sponsorship of $100 is eligible for a free race entry. If the sponsor does not want to use the free entry, it may be used by the person who brings in the sponsor.
