Our Gang 4 Wheelers is an ice racing club whose volunteers have been organizing ice races in Colorado for 37 years! You'll find us out on Georgetown Lake in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Our season spans 6 weekends through January and February.

Our 2013 season has come to an end! We invite you to participate with us next season. All you need is a 4WD or AWD vehicle, a valid Driver's License and a small registration fee. We have classes for all levels of drivers. Ice racing is fun, safe and a great way to enjoy your 4x4 during the winter months. If you'd rather watch, remember that spectators are always free! Our racing is unique and our one-of-a-kind style shouldn't be missed. Either way our site is filled with information, so check us out!

NEWS & UPDATES:

Georgetown Lake Clean Up Day

Our Gang and our Ice Racers will be headed to Georgetown to help the Town with their Clean Up Day.  Our Gang tackles the task of cleaning up around the lake and we can use all the help we can get.  If you can donate a couple of hours to clean up our wilderness, take care of our one-and-only race facility and just plain be a good person — we want you!  Meet us in the parking lot next to the Mountainbuzz Cafe at 8am, the nice people in Georgetown will provide us with trash bags.  From there we will head to the lake and clean along the shoreline for a couple of hours, you’ll be on the road by 11am.  It’s a good idea to bring a pair of work gloves too!  See?  Easy!  Come help us out!!

4th of July Drag Race

The dirt drag race is one month away and we hope you are planning on coming out to race with us this summer!  Races are held as part of the Town of Wellington, CO’s 4th of July festivities.  From the I-25 Wellington exit, drive into town and head North on County Rd 7, and one block North of Washington Avenue, you will see the field and the crowd on your left.

Registration will begin at 9am and continue through the morning.  Wellington will have a parade in town at 10am and after that has finished, we will hold our Driver’s Meeting and start the bracket racing after.  Trophies will be awarded for top places in each class.  If you want to stay, Wellington has a fireworks display planned after dark.

We will have several classes:

Street Legal Diesel Powered
Street Legal Gasoline Powered (this may be split by engine size if there are a lot of entrants, like we did last year)
Outlaw (Open Class, Does Not Need To Be Street Legal)
Q/A/U (Quads, ATVs and UTVs)

Entry is $20 per driver per class.  You must have a valid Driver’s License, a helmet and sign a waiver.  Vehicles and tires should be in good repair and will be subject to a basic safety inspection (no leaks, no loose parts/wires, steering wheel securely fastened, safety belts in good/working order, good throttle return, good brake pressure, tires in good shape, etc…)

Our Gang Members please call Jean (303.908.5297) and let her know your T-Shirt size if you do not have a volunteer shirt from last year’s drag race.  She will be placing an order shortly!!
